Dear Brother || Lucifer&Balthazar

balthazars-menage-a-douze:

Somehow his Brother was right. He tried to check his Mood. He does this with anyone just to know how far he can go. Not that he wanted to upset him. But know that he was sure, that Luzifer not just want to smite him, he could be himself. Even if he knew that his loose comments are just a way to hide his anger about what he did to Zoé. Again, the Thought reminded him why he was angry at the first Place. He clenched his Jaw and swallowed the wrath down.

He mad a nod. “Yeah, Cobbler, stick to your trade.” he moved his Gaze to the fire. He still couldn’t believe that his older Brother just wanted to visit him. Still, after all their were Brothers and as long a specific subject wouldn’t fall, it was fine for him. He remembered Luzifers last visit on Ears just from Stories. He raised a brow. Little one. A smirk appeared on his Face. “Oh.. you can see it yourself, big Bro.” He gestured through the room with one hand. “I guess I can’t complain.” He said and turned his head away from the Fire to face him. “Living as a Human is not that bad you know.” He crooked his head. “You should try it.”

Lucifer easily picked up on the younger angel’s mood, but he didn’t comment.
While he’d come with intentions to tease his brother and gain information, he didn’t want to start a fight.
However, he may have underestimated Balthazar’s feelings for the nephilim.

“I think you’ve been living among humans for too long. Besides, a trade earns you something. If you could call what I do that, it’s not a very rewarding one.” He wasn’t delusional, he knew what his Apocalypse plans would do. Destroy Humanity, start a war with Heaven. If Lucifer survived, there’d be nothing left for him in the end, save the satisfaction of having finally made it all stop.

He matched the smirk with a smile of his own, eyes not following the gestured hand “Stealing some poor insect’s house is considered doing good?”
Lucifer would have commented on how far a warrior of the Lord had fallen, but he was aware that this wasn’t the first thing Balthazar had stolen, and he doubted the jibe would have the effect he desired.
“I’m struggling to hide among them as it is, Balthazar. Though I suppose having all those demons around doesn’t make matters any easier.” He frowned a little at the fire as if mulling it over, in the end shrugging because, well, he really didn’t care “I’d rather not live at all, if those were my choices.”
But giving up wasn’t an option, not in this world.

Faith/Lucifer - Faith’s Apartment

faithbyfive:

She’d been calculating the risk of how long it would take her to dart out the front door before he killed her, when his question brought her attention back to him. The Devil didn’t get sarcasm…kind of funny, actually. Faith just looked at him, when a thought struck her.

“Yeah. Cookies. Let me just go get you some..from the kitchen.” She said, already moving backwards towards the room. There were weapons in the kitchen - and a phone. Maybe she could call for help.

Lucifer stared right back, wondering if he’d missed something.
He tilted his head, watching her retreat to the kitchen.
Doubting there’d be a door back there, though humans seemed fond of having more than one way into their homes, he only had to worry about her trying to escape via a window.
If he hadn’t just waved his hand and sealed the house, that is.

He smiled till she disappeared, then got up from the couch and began poking around.
’ Living’  in an abandoned home purely for the sake of being able to hide from prying eyes and actually living in a well furnished one, it was very different.
A lot of the things seemed personal, little trinkets and different kinds of books which all gave him an idea of what kind of person this Faith was.
Righteous do-gooder than wanted to prove her worth and value.
If he got a soul for everytime he came across one of those..

Zoé/ Lucifer - unuttered

psychic-zoe:

It hurt her badly, made her freeze inside, feeling how dark and hopeless parts of him were. She felt like a winter-sun fighting against the eternal ice of the poles that held him tight in their grip. Zoé wouldn’t force anything, but she wouldn’t give up either. In the end it wasn’t really important, as long as he wouldn’t deny her. Softly she stoke his cheeks once more as if that mere though would brush away some of the icy frost within him.

When their lips met Zoé lost the feeling of cold, the feeling for everything physical. Her eyes closed. Yet there was a sting inside her, something that tried to hold her back, like a pin that caught a fabric threatening to tear a piece out of it. It felt like a foreign matter and she simply tore it out, tossed it away, not looking back.

Zoé’s heart skipped a beat as Lucifer kissed back like this, pulling her even closer to him. She could hear his wings unfold, making her shiver as they brushed against her sensitive ones. Her kiss became more intensively, her breath quickened as he pulled her up and pressed their bodies together. Zoé straddled his lap, moving her fingers merely a bit to the back of his head and straightened her wings, placing them against his. She could hear his words in her mind, which made her press herself against him like their bodies would be able to merge like their graces.

There were no words that could express the turmoil of emotions she felt, or even name them, making her heart and breath speed up, her lips smile and tears gather in her eyes. As a reaction Zoé’s grace gleamed and radiated in a warmth that humans couldn’t feel, flooding the room, her sleeping son’s joining hers, making it even stronger, giving their energy to him.

Lucifer soaked in her warmth, all her body and Grace offered to him.
Her touch made him shiver, crave for more and he placed his hand over hers, palm flat against his cheek, their fingers entwining.
A soft moan escaped his mouth, as wings brushed against wings, feathers entangling and feeling just right.

He didn’t think, just felt and without warning Lucifer had pushed her to her back, his body once more covering hers, pressing down as if there were no mortal boundaries holding them back from being one.
His mouthed moved against hers, certain and focused as Lucifer’s tongue ran along her bottom lip.

His Grace began glowing in response to hers and the child’s, accepting and returning the warmth, the love.
The room was filled with light, something beyond white that felt so pure to behold.
But Lucifer wasn’t looking, didn’t care for the glow that gave him his name, the one he’d thought to have lost in the darkness of Hell.
He had mind and Grace only for the woman beneath him, the one that carried his child, albeit only by taint.

His hands framed her face, as he peppered her lips with kisses, each one a blessing and gift angels had once bestowed upon those faithful to God, each now a word, a promise in Enochian that he gave to the one that loved him regardless.
Love, trust, safety, health, happiness, everything.
And if God wouldn’t allow it, he’d tear it from the Heavens.

faithbyfive replied to your post: OOC: Yes, as you can tell there is actually very little point to my queued posts and in fact you all had to wait even longer for my replies.

I’m just odd like that and I apologise.
Even if I am still grinning.

Also, Glory and FAith still need to reply to my last posts.

Zoé/ Lucifer - unuttered

psychic-zoe:

morningstar-hellfire:

Lucifer’s eyes closed as she held him, with wings, hands and emotions.
It was a lot, especially for someone who’d be wanting this for years.
Warmth, love, trust.
He’d lost a lot when he fell, watched even more die away in the darkness of Hell.
Lucifer had come out a being with nothing but shadows following him and a fire of hate burning hot.
He knew he was no longer the angel Father had created, knew he never would be.
A tainted Grace and a skewered view of Earth, life, Heaven and most importantly, love.

He deemed himself unworthy, the feeling only being reinforced when Michael came to visit.Half the time an angel called him brother, he felt something twist inside him, doubting that they meant it, saying it only out of habit.
How could any of them really consider him a brother when their Father turned away from him?
Humans called it being disowned.

Yet here, in this woman’s arms, that love he offered Father, limitless, unbound and eternal, the love that was turned down, was being offered to him, being begged to be taken.
And it hurt him to even hesitate on it.

Or maybe that was Zoé’s feelings?
He wasn’t sure at this point, his own emotions echoing through her back to him.
Lucifer was confused, he’d admit that, and he couldn’t see where this would go, the near future was something he’d always had planned out.
He looked into her eyes as she wanted, fighting back these pointless tears because crying wouldn’t show him where to go from here.
Her emotions were bare to him, tripping over eachother in turmoil and he was once again at fault.
But now she knew. Knew how he’d felt, the pain he’d carried with him and the desire to just wish it all away.

Lucifer pulled his hands from her waist, copying her movement by framing her face with his hands.
“I don’t get why. I’ve done nothing to warrant your..” He trailed off, his thumb running over her bottom lip as he stared into her eyes and sighed “I’m not worthy for redemption.”
It hurt to say it, but it was the truth.
If his own brother, the one that raised him, couldn’t see it in him to let Lucifer walk free instead of trying to kill him, then there really was no hope.

Lucifer couldn’t let this go though, not her.
He never really let her go the first time, always keeping an eye on her, kicking himself the times he didn’t and she got hurt.
Glorificus would suffer when she her value to him drops.
“I would never be able to.” His voice was low as he looked right at her Grace, honesty dripping off his words. This was as close to it as he could get, for now.

Zoé simply just looked back at him, pleadingly, beseechingly. She had send Sam away for him, risked his trust in her for Lucifer, accepting what she felt for the both of them and now the even dared to push everything that clung to Sam away, into the shadows. All Zoé wanted right now was to be with him, to be there for him, to tear his pain away, if it only was for a brief moment. She wanted to show him that there was still hope.

His hands left cold chills on her skin as he took them away and she trembled when he placed them on her face. Zoé’s heart pounded against her chest, since she hadn’t expected this expression of affection. She felt his thumb on her lip in her entire body, not letting go of his eyes. Everyone was worthy for redemption, she wanted to say, but her voice wouldn’t work and after all it was her voice that had made him move away from her.

And then he admitted it. Even though he didn’t say it directly. He told her that he didn’t deny his emotions. The emotions he had for her. Even though these words didn’t really say a thing for anyone, for Zoé they said even more. She pulled at her hands, leaning herself forwards and kissed him.

He could feel it, feel her trying to push her hope on him, her silent words that even he could be saved.
Inside he laughed, cold and with tears. He would never be saved. That future was never an option for him, not before the Fall and not now.
And hope?
Lucifer had long forgotten what it was, what it gave.

He had it once and it was destroyed, merely because he said no for the first time.
There’d been none of the understanding or guidance he’d hoped for, so why bother when it didn’t help.
He’d cast away the belief of hope, along with his blind faith.
The Devil wanted proof, words, visions, anything that could prove it true, because he didn’t dare hope, not again.
To him, love and hope didn’t go well together.

He closed his eyes, before their lips met, felt her being and saw her with his Grace rather than senses.
Zoë was vibrant, alive, and so full of everything emotional.
She was scarred, troubled and scared, there was hesitation, a warning running through her, but she ignored it, probably didn’t even notice it.
Because it came from him, from Lucifer.
A last call out, telling her there would be no going back, there’d be no stopping.
He wouldn’t be able to handle it, so please, don’t you dare.

Lucifer kissed back with a rough mouth, hands pulling hers closer as wings shot out, tattered and worn feathers brushing against hers as they stretched across the small room and beyond.
He engulfed her, wrapped them up tight together as he pulled her body up with him to his knees, torso and down pressed flush against eachother.
‘You can have me for all I’m worth’ even if he didn’t think his value to be that much.

Dear Brother || Lucifer&Balthazar

balthazars-menage-a-douze:

Balthazar shrugged at his outburst but didn’t reply. He knew that it was a bad insult for his brother. he clenched his jaw, knowing he started to get unobjective. He shook his head and sighed. “Don’t be so touchy.” he really couldn’t get an apology from his lips for him. He still was angry and annoyed.

“Yeah, right, it change nothing, so why live in the past.” He said in resignation. He wished he were somewhere else. He knew this could end bad if he was not able to control his Emotions. He stood up to get the bottle scotch. “You know, I really don’t want to argue with you.” he said while he filled Luzifers Glass again. “No offence but you’re really a pain in my ass.” He set down and filled his glass too. “Are you really just here for a fancy talk?”

Lucifer leaned forward in his chair, eyes still on his brother “Touchy? Isn’t that what you wanted, my reaction? I don’t see why you’d have said it otherwise.”
It might have just been Balthazar being petty, wanting to get back at him for his wrong doings, or maybe the younger angel was up to something.
The difference between his siblings in Heaven and on Earth was that down here they learned to be creative.
If something didn’t go their way, they didn’t break out the Grace right off the bat, they hit up books or go on a trip.
Much more fun to deal with too.

“Apparently I’m a pain in everyone’s ass. But it’s my role and who am I to step off the path I’ve been walking for so long?” Walking without even realizing. Father was as sneaky as a human could be.
“I’m here to see you, brother. I only managed to catch up with Castiel and Michael during my last visit to Earth.” Sitting back again, he swirled his glass around, the amber liquid spinning lazily, before taking a small sip.
It tasted horrible, as he expected, but he didn’t show his distaste and merely smiled “So tell me, little one, how are you?”

Confrontation- Sam/Lucifer

salt-burn-sammy:

He was silent for longer than he meant to be, pondering. “Fine. Don’t tell me. Don’t explain yourself.” He muttered quietly. In his head, he finished, But maybe that’s the reason you can never convince me. Because I wouldn’t know what I’m getting into.

Shaking off that thought, deeply wishing he’d never had it, he stared back up at Lucifer, wide-eyed like this was the first time he’d ever really looked at him.  He seemed to be pondering something himself. A vague curiosity passed quickly. Slowly, he responded to Lucifer’s statement, still not sure why he felt the need to explain, “I’ve hurt alot of people. I’ve done countless things I wish I could undo. So what if I’m not the world’s savior? I learned that a long time ago. Doesn’t mean I’ll stop trying to save everyone I can. We are still not the same. I’m not looking for salvation. But neither should you. That’s the only way we’re the same.”

Lucifer narrowed his eyes for a moment before sighing “You’re no fun sometimes, Samuel.”
It wasn’t fun when the subject didn’t play along, but he wouldn’t force him, wouldn’t dangle information just out of his reach so he’d jump for it.
He didn’t want to be obvious. Not right now, anyway.

He went back to walking around the hunter, hands clasped together, a thumb running over his bottom lip “Many people have done many wrongs, some regretting it, others not even giving a damn. Humans and their free will. It’s wasted on a lot of you, you know that, right?” He paused  briefly to look at Sam “And I know we’re not the same, but you need to learn that we’re not that different either.”

“I am not looking for salvation, Sam.” He spread his hands out, standing in front of the taller man “Even with my best intentions, my hardest work and my most sincerest apologies, I’d never get salvation, I’ll never be redeemed. It’s ceasing to exist or the Pit for me. And you know what, when that happens, your ticket to a peaceful afterlife, with your brother? It’ll be gone. Poof.”
